Summary:
Toy willow pattern tea set, possibly incomplete, comprising teapot and lid, sugar basin and lid. Made in Japan. All pieces are matching and oval in shape, but vary slightly as to colour and definition of the design.

Purchased at auction in Melbourne in 1989 as part of a larger set of objects, also containing Punch and Judy puppets.
Description:
Toy willow pattern tea set, possibly incomplete. Comprises: teapot and lid, sugar basin with handles either side and lid; and milk jug. All pieces are matching and oval in shape. Pieces vary slightly as to colour and definition of the design.

I have the same teapot,sugar bowl,jug and three cups,saucers and plates. It was given to me for my seventh birthday present. I will be sixty seven this month.

I have a similar Willow tea set with the tea pot, sugar bowl, jug, tea cups and saucers also plates. It was given to me in 1964.
