Bunsen burner, circa 1850 used in the pharmacy of a mental health hospital in Victoria Australia.
Adjustable gas Bunsen burner sits on 3-pronged cast-iron base. Balls and screw attach burner to base allowing movement in any direction. Right-angled tubular handle serves as 4th leg when burner is pointed upward. Cap may be removed from top to light jet.
