A tin drug sieve used in the preparation of pharmaceuticals in the pharmacy of a psychiatric hospital in Victoria, Australia, circa 1900.
Description:
Drug sieve has a round wide tin base with a detachable smaller round tin with a sieve base which fits into the base. Has a lift-off lid with a metal rod through the centre, with a brush attached. On the top of the lid is a handle which rotates the brush on the sieve.
