Postage Stamp - Phar Lap, 1978 Reg. No: SH 940377
- This stamp was issued by Australia Post in 1978, as part of a series of four stamps celebrating the Australian Racing Industry, particularly horses that had won the Melbourne Cup. Phar Lap won the race in 1930.
- Rectangular paper postage stamp with a coloured image of the race horse Phar Lap being ridden by a jockey. The stamp has a serrated edge around all sides. Printed text in black ink. Reverse of stamp is coated in an adhesive.
