- Small oval white paper wine bottle label, used at H.W.H Irvine's winery at Great Western, 1905-1918. The label is bordered in gold and depicts prize medals and the Irvine crest.
Wine label is printed in black, red and gold ink and reads: "Irvine's gold medal pure vintage London International 1873 Paris International 1900 Australian wines Perthonia-Red Hermitage. Hans Irvine & Co. Dowgate Hill. London, E.C. and Victoria, Australia".
This type of label was attached to the front of small, squat, oval glass bottles. Bottles of Perthonia Red had red foil tops with two green bands.
