Round badge manufactured to celebrate the visit of Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh to Australia in 1954. The badge was purchased to celebrate the 1954 Royal visit by Mrs Boyunegnez, who was a school girl at the time. She performed in a school demonstration for the Queen during her visit to Australia. - Description:
- Small metal badge with red, white and blue ribbon attached. The badge shows a picture of Queen Elizabeth 2 against a British flag and an Australian Red Ensign. The Queen is wearing a tiara and a necklace. At the base of the badge is a scroll with the text 'Royal Tour.' The small length of ribbon is attached to the pin at the back.
