Dress - Strong, Grey, circa 1920. Worn by patients in mental health hospitals in Victoria Australia. Strong dresses are reinforced in order to endure wear and tear caused by distressed patients.
Grey (faded) very heavy cotton dress, lined, and quilted with black stitching. Has a waistband and gathered skirt, round neck and narrow stand-up collar. Eyelets from neck to the waist at back. Long sleeves.
