- This waistcoat was designed and manufactured in Melbourne by Prue Acton P/L in 1969, as part of her `Juliet' range, which was inspired by the release of the film `Romeo and Juliet' in 1968.
It was originally worn by donor, possibly with hotpants. - Description:
- Black velvet waistcoat trimmed around edges with gold braid and black lace. Black buttons fasten the front. Lined in black satin rayon.
