Dress - Prue Acton, Evening, Black Lace, circa 1980 Object Reg. No: SH 942061

This dress was designed and manufactured in Melbourne by Prue Acton P/L circa 1980. This was the donor's dress, which was copied for her ready-to-wear range. The cobweb lace purchased in France, and made by a Japanese designer. Prue Acton was always looking for fabrics upon which to base her collections.

The dress is fitted to mid thigh, then flares out from satin panels inset into the skirt.
