- This mini dress was designed and manufactured in Melbourne by Prue Acton P/L in 1967. This example was worn by donor with a matching coat (not in the collection.) It is a similar design to the donor's 'Gown of the Year entry with Bugle beads (which didn't win.)
According to the donor, the style went from evening (Victoriana) to casual sportswear. - Description:
- Dark blue and pink horizontal striped A-line mini dress with short sleeves. The front opening is fastened with press-studs. Has a round neckline.
