- Paperboard shop advertising sign for Viscount cigarettes, circa 1970, used at the Old Lolly Shop, Carlton North.
The Old Lolly Shop was a milk bar opened and run by Elizabeth and Henry Cohen at 314 Rathdowne Street, Carlton North, from 1939 to 1975. - Description:
- Rectangular shaped paperboard sign, of landscape design. Sign edged in gold, ground colours red and white. Windows have been cut out along lower edge, behind which rotating mechanisms can be turned to indicate digital time. Reverse, small cardboard stand adhered to right edge, time wheel attached with metal eyelet.
