- Summary:
- Mesh tray for use with a small kiln made by Fornell and Company, used by Martha Ash, circa 1996. Martha Ash was born in Poland in 1920 and lost all her family in the Holocaust. She came to Australia in 1949 where she studied ceramics, sculpture silver smithing, enamelling and glass mosaics. She usually worked without sketches or drawings and her work often reflected the images, colours and experiences of her environment and past. She died in September 1996.
