Blotter Holder - Minimax Ltd, circa 1920 Object Reg. No: HT 2806

Blotter holder: dip pens necessitated blotters. This one was an advertising give-away. To use, it was placed on fresh writing paper and rocked. Period: pre-1925. Used by Commonwealth Serum Laboratories (CSL) Limited , Parkville, Victoria.
Cradle shape: flat panel at front with advertising image, curved metal cradle at back layered with blotting paper caught under metal clips at either end.
