Hi
I have one of these pocket watches which has been handed down the family. It isn't working but is complete. I was wondering whether it was worth getting it mended and if it had any value.
Many thanks

Museum Victoria Comment
Hi Mr Purdy. Unfortunately Museum Victoria cannot provide valuations of objects or conservation advice. We suggest that you contact a horologist in the UK. The British Horological Institute has contact details of its members at http://www.bhi.co.uk/repairer.html Whether or not it is 'worth' repairing is up to yourself and will, I imagine, depend on it's sentimental, as well as monetary value
