This wax model is based on a specimen grown in India and presented to the museum in 1886. The model was made in India. The model maker was not recorded.

Unknown variety. Also known as Sour Sop. Variety of Annona Spp. (Annonaceae). Display card indicates "Hibiscus(?)", but is labelled "Sour Sop" which belongs to the Annona species, not Hibiscus species.
