Summary:
This wax model was based on a specimen grown and presented to the museum by Mr Cole of Hawthorn in 1875. This model was made by museum artist Thomas McMillan in 1875 for display at the 1876 Centennial International Exhibition, Philadelphia. Duplicate of Reg Item 13434.

This Victorian seedling was raised by Mr Thomas C. Cole of Hawthorn. This variety is not in the 1974 edition of Ikin's Listing of Fruits.
