I have a westclox clock - on the bottom of face - Western Clock Co Limited Petersborough Canada. on the back it says __ 1932 Made in Canada. It's square, wind up and black. I don't see 1932 on your collection, how come? Is this a clock to keep?

Museum Victoria Comment
Hi Lisa. The museum doesn't necessarily systematically collect one of each type of clock or any other object. Sometimes things are part of a wider collection of items related by context rather than form. This clock for example was part of a large collection donated by the RSL, which included items of all different types including photos, medals and many other objects related to Australia's military history. See our Donation guidelines for further information on how we contextualise our collection. Whether it's worth keeping is of course up to you.
