A very early form of this type of simple, mass produced alarm clock.
Description:
Small round metal clock with bell on top. Alarm mechanism is in bell.

Spring wound; lever escapement.

I have a bee alarm,new in original box,talks about worlds fair. has writing on back side of box..dated 1894? thanks you ron

Thanks for your inquiry, Ron. We haven’t been able to find a precise date when the Ansonia Clock Co started making Bee clocks; Ansonia was making hundreds of models in the late 19th century. So your date of 1893/4 for your Bee is consistent with other information. The Bee was put into many different cases. With ours, we had dated it as circa 1900, but it could easily be 10 years either side of that date. Hope this helps!

hi i have a ansonina bee dating back to 1875 it is all dated on the back it was given as a prize at the great new york exhibition in 1875 i even have the tin with the exhibition on it saying first prize winner i would love to know more about it

Hi Haytham. As indicated above, Ansonia made hundreds of models of Bee clocks. But, if they did make a model that was a prizewinner at an exhibition you might be able to find out more by doing some further research or taking it to a horologist.
