German World War I grenade for use with a Granatenwerfer, painted olive green.

A Granatenwerfer was a German grenade-launcher, issued to German light mortar units during World War I. the Australian War Memorial holds an example: RELAWM10972.
Grenade comprising serrated steel body 115 mm long x 60 mm diameter with fuse body projecting at tip. Tail has four tail fins.
