- This model DS85H air-bag suspension tractor seat was manufactured by Grammer in West Germany for International Harvester. Specialist seats for tractors and trucks are designed to provide support and comfort for driver's who spend long hours at the wheel of these types of machine. This seat can be adjusted for drivers weighing between 85 and 130 kilograms. Suspended seats were developed by Grammer in the early 1960s and sold from 1964.
This seat was donated by International Harvester for use as an interactive exhibit in the rural exhibition of the Museum in the 1980s. - Acquisition Information:
