- Percussion pocket pistol, cal. .88 bore (.375). Supposed to have been converted from flintlock.
Made by John Collis, Oxford, circa 1790 (active 1782-1798). - Description:
- Screw off, smooth bore, cannon barrel 1 5/8 in. (42 mm.) long, overall length 6 5/16 in. (160 mm). Box lock with central hammer, oval steel trigger guard, flat wooden butt.
