- Summary:
- Percussion double barrelled pistol, cal. 16 bore (.656 in.). Muzzle loading, smooth bore, twist steel barrels 6 1/2 in. (165 mm) long, overall length 12 1/4 in. (312 mm).
Made by Henry Tatham, London (active1825-1860), circa 1850. - Description:
- Platinum bands at breech, V notch backsight, blade foresight, side locks & hammers with sliding safety bolt, the main spring is on the outside of each lock plate, steel trigger guard with square front. Chequered wooden stock with rounded butt, steel butt cap, silver monogram plate, ramrod on left hand side between barrels.
