- Model of a Betty Geeson apple. The Betty Geeson is a cooking apple harvested in winter. This variety of apple in not in the 1974 edition of Ikin's listing of fruits.
This model is based on a specimen grown and presented by Charles Draper, Charnwood, Hazelglen, in 1875. The model was made by museum artist Thomas McMillan in 1875 for display at the 1876 Centennial International Exhibition, Philadelphia.
