Summary:
Cased pair of percussion belt pistols, cal. 15 bore (.670 in.). Made by John Blissett, London, circa 1852.

Presented to Mr. I. O. Rose, from his brother clerks in the L. & W. Bank. St. James Sqr. as a memento of their esteem 1852.
Description:
Muzzle loading, smooth bore, octagonal barrel 5 in. (127 mm.) Long, V notch backsight, nickel silver blade foresight, overall length 10 5/8 in. (270 mm.).

Box lock with side hammer, steel vent screw under nipple, oval steel trigger guard. Chequered stock, steel butt cap with cap recess, oval silver monogram plate, swivel ramrod, belt hook on L. H. side.

Fitted case lined with green baize, brass carrying handle set into lid, plate marked "H". No accessories.
