Summary:
Colt Woodsman semi-automatic pistol, Cal. .22 in. With holster.

Made by Colt's Patent Fire Arms Manufacturing Co, Hartford, Connecticut. Serial number 41770, 1924.

One of a pair owned by Dr W. D. Walker, BSc, MBBS, ARPS, FRGS, and carried during his journeys in central Australia, 1927-1928.

Dr W. D. Walker and Mrs Walker left Adelaide, South Australia in July 1927 and travelled for 18 months through central Australia to Darwin, then back through central Australia and western Queensland and New South Wales to Sydney.
