Wax model of a Esopus Spitzenburg apple, also known as Esopus Spitzenberg, Spitzenberg, and Esopus. This variety is a dessert apple, harvested in winter.

This model was based on a specimen presented by John Harbison of Essendon in 1875. The model was made by museum artists Thomas McMillan in 1875 for display at the 1876 Centennial International Exhibition, Philadelphia.
