This wax model was based on a specimen presented by John Harbison of Essendon in 1875. The model was made by museum artist Thomas McMillan in 1875 for display at the 1876 Centennial International Exhibition, Philadelphia.

This variety is not in the 1974 edition of Ikin's Listing of Fruits.
