This wax model was based on a specimen grown and presented to the museum by the Horticultural Society of Victoria from their gardens at Burnley, 1884. The model was made in the museum. The model maker was not recorded.

Synonyms: Ortley, New York Pippin, Woolman's Long, White Bellefleur, Detroit, Van Dyne. This apple is a cooking and dessert variety and is harvested in winter.
