This wax model is based on a specimen grown and presented to the museum by Horticultural Society of Victoria from their Burnley Gardens, 1884. The model was made in the museum. The model maker was not recorded.

Synonym: Amber Crab. This variety originated from Pyrus Baccata, Common Siberian Crab.
