Stop-Work Reg. No: ST 019898
- Clock stop-work, used to prevent damaging the spring by overwinding.
- Comprises two small brass wheels, one with 15 teeth and the other with 16 teeth. Each wheel has a small projection behind the teeth and these come into contact when required number of turns have been given to the spring to prevent further winding. This is one form of stop- work for clocks with going barrels.
