Surveyors Chain - Metal, Eight Inch Links, circa 1840s Reg. No: ST 032373
- Metal surveyor's chain used to measure land distances. A chain is a unit of length where 100 links measures 66 feet.
- Brass hand grips at each end of chain. Wire links are eight inches long. Incised markers after each ten links of chain.
