Label - Poonah Figures, circa 1867 Object Reg. No: ST 040776

This label lists 82 Indian Clay (Poonah) figures purchased by the National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) from Stubb & Co for £9.10 in 1867. The figures, all from Pune, are recorded in the NGV stock book; their numbers corresponding to those on the label and on the objects.
The label is white paper, printed on both sides with black lettering identifying a series of 82 'Poonah' Figures.
