Summary:: Mantel clock with aneroid barometer, in granite case made from the granite used in the construction of Princes Bridge, Melbourne in 1888.

The clock was owned by David Munro (1844-1898), the engineer and building contractor who had the contract to build the bridge. It is probable that Munro himself had the clock made. The clock was presumably made in Melbourne, using an imported movement.
Description:: Granite case with scrolls on top and sides. Round clock has silvered dial with roman numerals. An aneroid barometer is held between plates of the clock. Aneroid dial is the ring outside the dial of the clock.

Spring wound; cylinder escapement.
