My mother was Sir John Storey's secretary at Fishermens Bend during WW2. I have been sorting through her things and have found a couple of pictures, one most notably of the last Beaufighter manufactured, flying
over Sydney Harbour. It is signed by all involved in its production, most notably Sir John's. Wondering whether you would be interested in seeing it, and if there is a Beaufighter still surviving.

Yours faithfully, Nancy Roberts

Hi Nancy, we have heard back from the Curator of the Engineering and Transport Collection and he has provided some interesting information for you about the Beaufighter. There are several Australian-built Beaufighters existing in Australia. There are complete examples at the National Aviation Museum at Moorabbin Airport in Melbourne and at the Camden Aviation Museum in Sydney. Incomplete examples are held by the Australian War Memorial in Canberra and the Historic Aviation Restoration Society at Wollongong. The Curator was also interested in seeing the images and any other information you may have relating to the Sir John Storey.
