Summary:: Commonwealth Department of Defence Ground Engineer Licence No.169 issued to Gilbert Thomas Miles on 25 January 1928. It is endorsed for the Avro 504K, DH9, DH9A and DH60 aircraft. Also endorsed for the Le Rhone 80 and 110 horsepower rotary engines, the AS Puma and the ADC Cirrus Mk 1 & 2. Gilbert Miles (Service no. 369) served with the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) from its inception in 1921 until 1948.
Description:: Licence with hard blue cover. The inside of the licence has black printed text with personal details in black ink.
