Aeroplane Model - Messerschmitt Me 262 Object Reg. No: ST 025777

Model History

1:32 scale model of a Me 262 was commissioned by the Museum and built by Mr R.D. Ramsay in 1965. It is painted to represent 'V167' the V5 pre-production aircraft.
Metal model aeroplane painted dark green across the wings with camoflage style green paint along the body and a pale green underside. There is a small black swastika on the tail.
