- Wax model of Winter Nelis pear and seeds, the variety also known as Bonne De Malines, Nelis D'Hiver, Coloma D'Hiver, Vrai Coloma De Printemps, Colmar Nelis, Beurre De Maline, Bonne Malinoise, and Nelis. The Winter Nelis is a dessert variety suitable for canning, harvested in late winter.
Model based on specimen from Archibald Stuart, gardener to R.B. Ronald of Toorak in 1875. The model was made in the museum by Thomas McMillan for the Philadelphia Centennial Exhibition of 1876.
