Summary:
Two slug tuned broadcast band tuning coils, Q- PLUS brand, with original cardboard cases.

Made by R. W. Steane & Co. Pty. Ltd. in Australia, in 1948.

Coils have aerial, grid & feedback windings for regenerative receiver. For use with the Dr. Reinartz method of feeding energy from plate to grid of detector valve conferring vastly increased sensitivity.
Description:
Coils: rectangular aluminium can with square cross section, with six pin base, central fixing nut and adjusting screw.
Boxes: rectangular cardboard box in yellow and black with red sash; printed text in black.
