Bicycle - R.L. Bates, 'Cyclone', 1918 Reg. No: ST 035166
- 'Cyclone' racing bicycle made in 1918 by R.L. Bates of 2 Queen's Parade, Clifton Hill in Melbourne. Fitted with a rear wheel fixed hub with wooden wheel rims. The name 'Long Jack Fitzsimons' is painted on the cross-tube of the steel frame.
- Metal bicycle with frame painted blue with white decorative motifs and black and white inscriptions. There is a leather seat and wooden rims on the wheels.
