Portable transit telescope, 1.5 inch aperture and 6 inch transit circle, in wooden box. Used at Melbourne Observatory.
Description:
6 inch transit circle graduated on silver and read by verniers. Accessories include spirit level (12.5 inches long), lamp stand, 2 lens, brass tube to shade telescope lens. Eyepiece and lamp missing.
