- Sectioned example of the first Michell crankless air compressor to be made. It is an 8-cylinder, multi-stage unit designed by A.G.M. Michell of Melbourne. Granted Australian patent no. 4627 in 1917. The compressor was made by Crankless Engines (Australia) Pty Ltd, Fitzroy, Melbourne in 1921.
