Spring metal wire strainer. "LOCKGRIP PAT. 1610/16 REG. C. DUIGAN" printed on lever. R. C. Duigan, Mia Mia, Vic. No. 1610/16. Reg Duigan was the younger brother of John R. Duigan. He assisted with the construction and flying of the first aeroplane to be built in Australia at Mia Mia in 1910. One of three in the collection.
