Colour glass slide advertisement featuring a John Deere Model D15-27 tractor. .It was made by Phillips Slide Co., Chicago, USA, circa 1930 for cinema use.
Lantern slide, comprising two sheets of glass sandwiched together and sealed with adhesive black paper binding tape around edge.
The hand tinted black & white photographic image is printed on the inside of the front glass, protected by a cover sheet to prevent it being scratched.
Description Of Content:
An advertisement for a John Deere tractor, model D 15-27. Illustration features a kerosene tractor. Colourful text reads: "John Deere model D kerosene burning farm tractor/ 15 hp at the draw bar/27 hp at the belt/the simple tractor that's small in dimensions/light in weight but big in power".
