Modle of a single furrow reversible mouldboard plough. Manufactured by Mitchell, West Footscray, Victoria, 1920s. Fitted with single pivoted plough body and land wheel. This type of reversible plough was widely used.

my uncle jerome o'neill worked as an engineer from around 1920 to his retirement with harvester firm mitchell. family have told me models of machines he worked on are on display in melbourne museum could someone kindly check museum victoria's farm machinery collections, and let me know if anything on display your's sincerely jerome mc cormick.

Hello Jerome - None of these models are currently on display. However, there is a daily tour of the collections store, and this includes an opportunity to view these items.
