Presented to Robert Lyndsay Abbott by Rex Aviation upon his retirement in June 1979. Engraved on rear of case 'Bill Abbott Rex Aviation 21.6.79'.

Robert Lyndsay Abbott was general manager of Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation Pty. Ltd., Fishermen's Bend, Melbourne, from 1969 until 197?. He was previously managing director, British Motor Corporation Australia, and Engineering Department, General Motors-Holden. Rex Aviation, Bankstown, N.S.W. was a wholly owned subsidiary of Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation and the Australian distributor of Cessna aircraft.
