- Magnesium split rim mainwheel hub size 49 x 17" assembly serial no. 6831 manufactured by B.F. Goodrich Co, Troy, Ohio, USA in April 1974. Tyre is a nylon size 56" x 20.00-20 manufactured by Dunlop Australia in July 1987. This 26-ply rated tubeless tyre serial no. F23293 has been retreaded three times and was found to be defective following a molography inspection by the manufacturer. This type of tyre is the largest aircraft tyre manufactured in Australia to date. It was normally used on RAAF Lockheed C-130 Hercules transport aircraft.
