Gents pocket watch, silver pair case, Samson, London, 1778.
Description:
Silver pair case. Outer case heavily embossed with scene with three human figures surrounded by scrolls. White dial has roman and arabic numerals separated by circle with scallops, ornate gilt hands and calendar dial. Inner case is hinged.

Key wound spring; verge escapement. Winding dial, fusee and chain.
