In 1872 Washington Handley Soul and his father Caleb Soul opened a drug store and dispensary in Pitt Street, Sydney. The business flourished, and in 1903 amalgamated with Pattinson & Co. to become a public company, Washington H. Soul, Pattinson & Co. Soul retired from active business after 1903. - Description:
- Gold hunter case is marked 18 carat. London hallmark for 1887 (uncrowned leopard, capital m). White dial has roman numerals and seconds dial at 9.
