I have a Eureka Clock Company electric clock
Patent No.14614 1906 with No 7290 stamped on it. It is a tall clock with enamel dial above the balance wheel all in a glass/mahogany case.
From the No. 7290 can you tell me please the possible date of manufacture and the cost at that time?

Thank you

Regards

David James

Hello David,
There is a standard reference on Eureka clocks: The Eureka Clock by Dr. F. G. Alan Shenton (1979). It may be available in a library to which you have access.
A useful site may be The Australian Antiquarian Horological Society, which includes The National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors Inc. They list contact details, and members may be able to help.

Hi John, you will need to contact a specialist group in order to find out what parts are available for your clock. The following may be useful: the Australian Antiquarian Horological Society: http://www.clockandwatchclub.com/default.htm or the Antiquarian Horological Society (UK); http://www.ahsoc.demon.co.uk/ or The British & Irish Clock and Watch Makers (1600-1940) http://www.clockswatches.com/
