Scales - Gold, circa 1850s Reg. No: ST 024757
- Set of gold scales designed to be held in the hand. These scales are typical of those used on the Victorian goldfields in the 1850s.
- The scales have two brass pans each supported on three chains hanging from a steel bar. They also have a set of nesting weights from 0.25oz to 4oz Troy and a set of fractional weights from 1 grain to 6 Pennyweights.
